Our Story

2001

The Butler family set out on a mission fueled by compassion - to bring secure, comfortable, and exceptional non-emergency medical transportation to patients across Maryland and Washington D.C., and beyond. From just two ambulances and a dedicated team, we've grown into a leading provider, touching the lives of tens of thousands each year. But our passion hasn't faded. Every journey remains a personal commitment carried out by our incredible team, the beating heart of the Butler family.

2021

The Butler Medical Transport family grew. William Rosenberg, former COO and a pillar of our organization for many years, stepped into the role of CEO alongside his wife, the dedicated RN Lisa Rosenberg. Together, they bring a legacy of service and unwavering passion to BMT.

Today

Based in Baltimore, Maryland, with additional locations across the region, BMT proudly serves our customers in the Maryland and Washington, DC areas. However, they also understand the need for continuous improvement. With fresh perspectives and a dedication to innovation, Will and Lisa are implementing new processes and initiatives to serve you even better.
